Haha. Went to East Coast today for our first ever Prefect outing! It was pretty, infact very fun! We met at CCK MRT control station before proceeding to Bedok. It was a long train ride so we got bored and played "Truth or Dare". Haha. Prabba and Cang Ning both kissed the train's window glass! EeK. Haha. That was a real eye opener! Upon reaching Bedok, we still had to take a bus to meet Nathan who had been there specially early to "book" the place with Audrey. So we are very very thankful for their goodwill. =D Anyways, it was a 15mins walk from the bus stop we stopped at to East Coast. I was sweating away already. We reached our shelter and settle down, laying all the food on the table. Sandy, Jun Pei, Daniel and I went to rent the bikes for like $5/3hrs? Haha. That's pretty affordable. So we cycled abit and went back to our shelter. Then Zi Xin saw us cycling and wanted to cycle too. So yup the 5 of us went to cycle further and it was fun fun fun! Eventhough I'm like an amatuer only. So cycled till the getty which was a long way. Crashed quite many times especially when we have to cycle uphill. Tedous. Then erm we cycled back and went to the sea side. I didn't play much there though and went back to tend the shelter. Soon after we went cycling again. Haha. But this time everyone went to rent a bike so we kinda race. Prabba was like so pro. Probably only wanna show off la. Haha. Kidding. Then I crashed when I was travelling over a hump then I stood up and "jump" with my bike. LOL. Then the chain kind of came off. Sandy tried to help but to no avail. Then Cang Ning's best friend from JJC or was is PJC. Ah nevermind about that but he manage to fix the chain back for me! Thank god and thank you! =) Then we cycled and cycled. Competing and competing. When we at the other side of the park, and making our way back. Tragedy striked. I nearly crashed into Cang Ning and I jerked my brake and turned the other side to prevent colision. Then I fell hard. My knee, toe and thumb started bleeding. Sian. My left thumb went numb for a moment and I couldn't feel any pain on my toe until I went back and bathe. The injury on my knee was just a graze wound but it looked awfully ugly. Yuck. Cang Ning insisted on helping me get back. So her poor good friend had to carry 2 bikes. Sorry! We didn't return back the bikes on time. But heng, they didn't charge us extra money. We went back to the shelter and ate again and drank sparkling juice! Yum yum! My favourite! We end of the party with Yang Sing and made our way back 'cause it's getting late too. I took Cang Ning's 7 seater car to Bedok MRT station and only reached home at 9.30pm? Btw, thanks you uncle and aunty for dropping us! I hope that we can have another fun-filled prefect outing again! =D
Went to Causeway Point just now with my fellow prefects - Cang Ning, Daniel, James Ong, Prabahkar and Nathan. LOL. Firstly, we went to Cold Storage to get some stuff like sparkling juice and paper plates. Upon leaving the market, we bumped into Audrey. Ya, we kinda got alot of attention from the public when we did those hand stacking game and woosh down shouting "Prefects!". Haha. Then we went to shop a lil' and apparently the guys ain't very good at it. Haha. I went to see some slippers and ATTENTION EVERYONE: if any of you happened to know where to shop for nice slippers, feel free to tell me! I'm looking for either hawalli type or army ones. Thanks. Anyways, we took Neoprints. It turned out horrible for me. I mean the photos. It's either there's not even a part of me or half of my face. Haha. But what matters most is the fun we had in the machine. LOL. Also there was one photo where there's only praba! LOL. So I went to decorate him, looking like Charlie Chaplin! LOL. He's still complainin now and determined to get his back on me. Uh oh. Haha. Bring it on baby!
Ok today's cycling course was FUN! Haha. Firstly, we went to a bicycle shop near East Coast. There was a couple of instructors who taught us how to dismantle the tyres and stuff like that. One of the instructor looked pretty cute actually but he dressed like a pai kia, so not my type. =P Then we were splited in two groups and I happened to be in the pai kia's group. LOL. I appeared very blur and clumsy when it was my turn to show pai kia how to dismantle the tyre. Drats, lose face in front of shuai ge. We proceeded to East Coast Park after this. It was a 15mins fast walk man.
Finally we reached the bicycle rental shop. Wahaha. This was when the fun begin! Sadly, only 1 guy in my group knew how to cycle. *Pathetic* So they had to re-arrange my group members so that at least half the group knew how to cycle. Initially I thought we were suppose to be there to learn how to cycle! Apparently not... We immediately had to set off in our groups and find checkpoints. I was like what the. Ok nevermind. I thought I was seeing things when I saw Betty from GESS at the rental shop. (Please refer this later at the bottom portion) I took doubles with Hong Lip with me sitting behind while rachel partner Ah Du, leaving William and Siew Ling behind. *Psss: It's not Siew Ling who can't cycle, it's William. Actually Hong Lip and I didn't have much problem starting off so yup, we "took off" quite smoothly. Rachel and Ah du were doing quite ok. BUT Siew LIng and William wasn't abit OK. Man. They took like 15mins or so and still couldn't start off. The rest of us were like so far away already. In the end Sir Kenneth cycled William. Ah ya! Wasted so much of my time. Then we finally got going as a group. So first stop... Underpass to Meyer Road. It was a long way man, but with the bike as a gear, no sweat! Haha. Actually no sweat for me la, I just had to paddle the wheels. Hehe. And admire the "scenary". Wahaha. Yup we found our checkpoint there and they was a orange tag named "Falling Coconut". Haha. Then our next clue to our next checkpoint was "The Bridge ahead". So we cycled and cycled until the dead end and still couldn't find out clue! But too late, it was game over. What a joke! LOL. Only 1 destination found. Haha. So we headed back. It was so shiok throughout the ride. I mean the breeze and stuff. Very cool. Upon waiting for the rest to head back, Ms Tan called me to get a smaller single bike and we needed to test me. Haha. If not I won;t get a badge leh. So I tried and Waa laa, I could CYCLE! Haha! Tralala. I wonder was that counted as a pass. Hope it is! Just when we are about to leave the place, we saw one batch of GESS SJAB people making their way back too! Haha. I was so super elated! So my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. What a coincidence! Hope to see them again soon! =D
It's 2 am and I'm still wide awake! Yaya. I went to the theatre with Kash yesterday afternoon to watch Monster-In-Law. Very hilarious and nice. Worth my time watching it and guess what? I love it so much that I even made a layout of it! It'm coming soon. So tune to see it. After that Kash and I went to shop for Devi's birthday present and got her some stuff from the Popular. Then upon leaving, some "very interesting stuff" happened to Kash. LOL. I shall not say this in public. I guess I'll log off now 'cause later got cycling course! `Weeee.
